Online therapy with Kita Tabachka

A place for what
is hard to say.

Relationship therapy for individuals, couples and expats. Talk with me online in English, or begin through weekly written therapy.

The sentence you haven’t said.

Sometimes one sentence is enough to begin. Open whichever feels familiar.

You can arrive with unfinished thoughts.
I seem fine. I don’t feel fine.

Holding everything together can leave little room to notice what you need. In individual therapy, we can start with the part of your day you keep carrying alone.

We keep having the same argument.

The subject changes, but the ending feels familiar. Couples therapy gives us time to slow the conversation down and hear what each of you is trying to say.

I moved. I’m still finding my feet.

A new country can change more than your address. I know from my own move to the UK that beginning again can raise questions about identity, relationships and belonging.

I can write it. I can’t say it yet.

You can take time to find your words. Email therapy offers one personal written reply from me each week through Carepatron, on an agreed day.

Hello, I’m Kita.

I’m glad you’ve taken a moment to get to know me.

I did not come to therapy in a straight line. I studied International Relations, worked at the Ministry of Finance in Bulgaria, moved to the UK and started again from zero.

I built a career in finance, business, strategy and leadership before changing direction at 35 into the work that has always had my heart: people.

That history matters in the therapy room. I understand pressure, responsibility, ambition, reinvention, anxiety and what it costs to look capable while privately feeling lost, tired or unsure where you belong.

Loss has shaped me too. Losing my sister, and watching my mother carry her own struggles, made me deeply attentive to how families move around pain, and how loss can be many things: a person, a country, a role, a relationship, a future, or a version of yourself.

People have always been where my attention goes.

Small moments tell us something.

  1. Bring a recent moment.

An argument, a difficult decision or the worry that kept you awake.

  2. Look at it together.

I’ll ask what you felt, what you did and what was hard to say.

  3. Consider what comes next.

We can explore your choices or practise a conversation you want to have.

In couples sessions, I may pause a conversation to check what each of you meant and heard.

A few practical questions.

What happens in the free consultation?

We spend 15–20 minutes talking about what brings you here, how I work and any questions you have. We can discuss fees, availability and whether working together feels right. Both partners attend a couples consultation.

Can I start by writing instead of having a video call?

You can enquire about email therapy in writing. It costs £50 per week for one personal written reply from me through Carepatron, on an agreed weekly response day. We agree suitability and terms before payment. It is not an instant messaging service.

Do you work with individuals as well as couples?

Yes. You can come individually to discuss relationships, anxiety, grief, self-doubt or life abroad. Couples sessions give both partners time to talk about what is happening between them.

Can I work with you if I live outside the UK?

I work online in English with UK and international clients where this is clinically appropriate and legally and ethically possible. Before we begin, we check your location, time zone and whether I can offer suitable support.

Do I need to know exactly what is wrong before getting in touch?

No. You can begin with something that happened recently, a feeling you keep returning to or a question you do not yet have words for. You do not need to prepare a polished explanation.

Online therapy in your location

You don’t need the perfect opening line.

Tell me a little about what feels difficult. We can use a free introductory conversation to decide whether working together feels right.
