Online therapy for anxiety

When worry follows you from one part of your day to the next, it can be hard to know where to begin. Online anxiety counselling offers space to talk about what feels frightening, what you keep replaying and how it is affecting your life.

“Why am I anxious all the time?”

You might look calm while preparing for everything that could go wrong. Perhaps you replay conversations, postpone decisions or struggle to switch off when the day is over. You do not need to wait until you can no longer cope to ask for help.

Anxiety can affect thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviour. These experiences have different possible causes. Counselling begins with understanding yours, rather than assuming that everyone who worries needs the same approach.

What can we work on?

We can look closely at a recent situation: what happened, what you feared, what you did next and what the response cost you. Together we can consider a manageable next step and review how it felt. The aim is to make the work relevant to your own life.

Fear, relationships and feeling not good enough

If the fear centres on a partner leaving, rejection or repeated reassurance, therapy for relationship anxiety and fear of abandonment explains that work in more detail. If a harsh inner voice is central, see therapy for shame and low self-esteem. You may recognise more than one concern; you do not need to choose the perfect category.

Read a more specific example: anxiety in men over 40 explores how pressure and worry can show up in midlife.

When a different kind of help may be needed

If symptoms are new, severe or difficult to cope with, speak to a GP or appropriate health professional. Do not assume physical symptoms are anxiety. The consultation also gives us space to consider whether you need specialist assessment or support beyond what I offer.

Meet Kita and discuss what you need

I am Kita Tabachka, a BACP-registered integrative therapist. You can check my registration, 409623. Individual online sessions cost £70 for 50 minutes. The first consultation is free and lasts 15–20 minutes.

We discuss your needs, availability, confidentiality and whether this support fits before starting. Sessions are in English. If you are outside the UK, please tell me where you will be during sessions so I can confirm international suitability.

You can bring notes or ask for time to think. If writing feels easier, email therapy may be suitable: £50 per week for one personal reply through Carepatron on an agreed day.

Questions you may have

Do I need an anxiety diagnosis to book?

No. You can enquire because worry, fear or overthinking is affecting your everyday life. We discuss your experience and whether this service is suitable.

What if I feel anxious but do not know why?

You do not need an explanation before you begin. We can start with a recent moment when anxiety felt difficult and explore what was happening around it.

Is this specialist treatment for OCD or phobias?

This page describes individual counselling, not a promise of specialist OCD or phobia treatment. We discuss whether a different assessment or service would better meet your needs.
