I want this website and my practice to be usable and welcoming for as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology. Accessibility is something I keep working on rather than treat as finished.
01What I aim for
The site is designed with readability in mind: clear typography, generous spacing, meaningful colour contrast, descriptive links, and text alternatives for images. It is built to work on phones, tablets and computers, and to be navigable by keyboard.
02Standards
I aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level as a practical benchmark. Some third-party content, such as embedded widgets, may not be fully under my control, and I work to choose accessible options where I can.
03Accessibility in the therapy itself
Because I work online, sessions can happen from a place that feels safe and comfortable for you. If you have particular access needs, for example around format, pacing, communication or neurodivergence, you are welcome to tell me, and I will do my best to adapt how we work.
04If something is not working for you
If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell me. Your feedback genuinely helps me improve things. You can reach me at info@kitatabachkatherapy.com.
